Introduction classes in 2D and 3D art and Studio Art all happen in WHS Room 171. The introduction classes are open to all students in any grade at WHS. Students learn technical art skills and have an opportunity to use their imagination in many project based assignments. Art history and appreciation are also a part of all classes. Studio Art is an advanced elective open to students in grades 11 and 12 who have successfully completed two or more introduction art classes.
Art 1 2D projects include pattern and color design, observational drawing, perspective drawing, landscape painting, illustration and portrait drawing.
